(JAN. 2006) L’EASY HAS chosen Transvision Fleet Planner as its new distribution planning solution. L’easy specialises in home delivery of brown and white goods to private addresses.   Distribution planning is a complex matter for L’easy because of a large number of unique order requirements and high demands for precisely timed deliveries. The implementation of Transvision Fleet Planner aims to assist in increasing the companie's service levels within the distribution while maintaining distribution efficiency.   With the solution order-taking, booking and time slotting will go hand in hand with distribution planning. L’easy’s 80 man strong telemarketing staff will dynamically access Fleet Planner to gain optimal suggested or confirmed time slots while the customer is on the phone.   Transvision Fleet Planner will continuously perform automated background optimisation throughout the day to find the most cost efficient delivery times and actual order allocation to resources.   Initially, Transvision Fleet Planner will be implemented to undertake the planning of 70 trucks in Denmark. The intention then is that further trucks will follow successively in other countries.     Read more about L'easy.   For more information, please find your Transvision contact.
