(OCT. 2010) TRANSVISION, A LEADING PROVIDER of IT systems for transport and distribution planning and optimisation, has
attained certification from SAP AG, thereby
achieving "Powered by SAP NetWeaver®"
status.
The SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) has certified that Transvision Fleet Planner v 2.5.2 successfully integrates with the SAP NetWeaver® (PI 7.1) technology platform.
Transvision has worked with the SAP ICC to test that Transvision Fleet Planner is compatible with SAP® technologies, and that the product is stable in an SAP® solution-based environment. Thus, this certificate confirms that Transvision Fleet Planner includes product features which are in accordance with SAP’s certification procedures.
Transvision achieved the certification in connection with the set-up of a comprehensive all-in-one solution integrated with SAP® software and targeted at the ready-mix concrete industry. This project was initiated by SAP in Walldorf, Germany, and carried out byTransvision and the SAP partner IDS Scheer. The two companies launched a fully integrated solution based on SAP® DynPro and XI/PI technology. The purpose of this solution is to integrate business processes for order taking, production, distribution and follow-up.
Sune Vang-Pedersen, Technology Manager at Transvision, comments: "We are very pleased that Transvision Fleet Planner 2.5.2 has been certified by SAP. Customers such as Statoil, MCB, Unicon and Aalborg Portland have been enjoying the integration features of our products in combination with SAP® solutions for quite some time already. This certification further demonstrates Transvision’s abilities, not to mention our focus on supporting the needs of major integrated companies."
Current and future customers using Transvision Fleet Planner with SAP® solutions can benefit from enhanced flexibility, interoperability, integrated processes and reduced costs of system integration.
