(NOV. 2003) AFTER AN INTENSE simulation contest between various providers of transportation planning solutions Posten Sverige has chosen Transvision Route Planner to be their new route planning tool. The reason for this was the ability of Transvision Route Planner to make efficient plans of a highly operational quality.    Transvision Route Planner is going to be rolled out in all districts in Sweden as a stand-alone solution. In each district Transvision Route Planner will be used for the planning of between 3.000 and 10.000 orders.   The planning will involve routing for mail collection from post offices and letter boxes, trunking transportation, parcel and county mail distribution.   In a later phase, Transvision Route Planner will be used for street based mail distribution planning.   Read more about Posten Sverige.   For more information, please find your Transvision contact.
